IT Help Desk Level I

Currently being led by the founders and the next generation of the family, the Group spans ~1500 employees in 5 geographic locations around the world, focused on omnichannel distribution and fulfillment for the beauty category. Multiple subsidiaries with a distinct leadership, business direction, and separate financial structure.

We are seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Level 1 Technician to provide hands-on technical support for our team in Melville, NY. This is a full-time, in-person role (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM), ideal for someone with a strong foundation in IT support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up workstations, software, and user accounts for new employees.
  • Provide Level I technical support for day-to-day hardware and software issues, including printers, desktops, laptops, and other devices.
  • Assist with network equipment installations, including switches and access points.
  • Perform computer hardware repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct onsite visits to various locations as needed.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level II support.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 1 year in a Help Desk Role (required)

Technical Skills:

  • Active Directory: 1 year
  • Windows: 1 year
  • MacOS: 1 year
  • Computer hardware repair: 1 year
  • Microsoft 365: 1 year

Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
